Change your PIN - Azure AD User
With Azure Active Directory deployments the VeroCard connects to the PC whenever they are turned on and in range. The process is driven via the menu on the card. To be able to change your PIN you must have all the Pre-requisite's ready.
With your PC and VeroCard turned on confirm connection to VeroGuard is present indicated on the VeroCard by the Bluetooth icon (indicates Bluetooth connection is present) and the “V” icon showing connection to VeroGuard.
Turn on your VeroCard. For more information refer to Turn-on your VeroCard section in the document.
In the VeroCard via the keypad press 022 to change your PIN. Your VeroCard will connect to the VeroGuard platform and will prompt you as follows:
Enter Current PIN: Enter your current PIN via the VeroCard keypad and press ✓.
Enter New PIN: Enter your New PIN via the VeroCard keypad and press ✓ (PIN Minimum Requirements).
Re-enter New PIN: Enter your New PIN again via the VeroCard keypad to confirm and press ✓.
While the system is validating the PIN the VeroCard will display the Please Wait message.
Upon successful validation the VeroCard will briefly display PIN Changed and then change to the ready state displaying Ready to Vero message.
Timeout: If the process is not completed the card will time out and cancel the process with the PC.
PIN Warnings:
Incorrect PIN: If you have entered incorrect PIN, VeroCard will throw an error message as Incorrect PIN.
Incorrect PIN: If you have entered the incorrect PIN 3 times when attempting to change your PIN, the VeroCard will get blocked and you will not be able to log back in to your PC, using VeroCard. Please contact your internal IT System Administrator to unblock your VeroCard.
PIN Mismatch: If the New PIN entered is different to re-entered password, VeroCard displays the PIN mismatch please try again message.
