Change your PIN - Azure AD User

With Azure Active Directory deployments the Keyek Card connects to the PC whenever they are turned on and in range. The process is driven via the menu on the card. To be able to change your PIN you must have all the Pre-requisite's ready.

  1. Ensure that both your PC and Keyek Card are turned on. Check the Keyek Card for the Bluetooth icon, which indicates an active Bluetooth connection, and the "V" icon, which confirms the connection to the Keyek.

  2. Turn on your Keyek Card. For more information refer to Turn-on your Keyek Card section in the document.

  3. In the Keyek Card via the keypad press 022 to change your PIN. Your Keyek Card will connect to the Keyek platform and will prompt you as follows:

    1. Enter Current PIN: Enter your current PIN via the Keyek Card keypad and press .

    2. Enter New PIN: Enter your New PIN via the Keyek Card keypad and press (PIN Minimum Requirements).

    3. Re-enter New PIN: Enter your New PIN again via the Keyek Card keypad to confirm and press .
      While the system is validating the PIN the Keyek Card will display the Please Wait message.
      Upon successful validation the Keyek Card will briefly display PIN Changed and then change to the ready state displaying the ready screen.


Timeout: If the process is not completed the card will time out and cancel the process with the PC.

PIN Warnings:

  1. Incorrect PIN: If you have entered incorrect PIN, Keyek Card will throw an error message as Incorrect PIN.

  2. Incorrect PIN: If you have entered the incorrect PIN 3 times when attempting to change your PIN, the Keyek Card will get blocked and you will not be able to log back in to your PC, using Keyek Card. Please contact your internal IT System Administrator to unblock your Keyek Card.

  3. PIN Mismatch: If the New PIN entered is different to re-entered password, Keyek Card displays the PIN mismatch please try again message.
